Who are we?

The Refuge is a Christian community and mission center in Broomfield, Colorado dedicated to helping hurting and hungry people find faith, hope, and dignity alongside each other.

We love to throw parties, share stories, find hope, and practice the ways of Jesus as best we can.

We laugh a lot. We cry a lot. We dream a lot.
We do a lot with a little.

The Refuge is a community of practice, with an eclectic mix of regular gatherings, special events, and ways to partner with us to serve the local community.

What do we do?

We practice the ways of Jesus as best we can.
We advocate for people, for justice.
We create space for dialogue, spiritual transformation, beauty, and learning.
We hold space for doubt, mystery, and
connection with God.
We serve the community, restoring dignity
where it's been lost.
We collaborate with other churches, ministries, and organizations because we're better together.
We show up in hard places.
We show up for each other.
